IPRS Mediquipe are the UK and Ireland’s sole Biodex distributor and have over 20 years experience maintaining and servicing the Biodex equipment range. 

Our Biodex equipment is at the leading edge of rehabilitation technology and therefore it is essential to have your equipment regularly maintained by our qualified engineers to ensure the results you obtain are consistent and reliable. 

What we offer

Service Options

Platinum

Platinum cover is our ultimate service package and comes highly recommended, providing you with fully comprehensive cover and 'peace of mind' for a 12 month period.

This fully comprehensive Platinum cover includes: 

  • Two six-monthly service visits for Isokinetic Systems (2,3 or 4), one annual service visit for all other equipment (as per manufacturer's recommendation)
  • All parts and labour guaranteed over the 12 month period of cover
  • One session of clinical training on an isokinetic system
  • Emergency call out cover with a 48-hour response time
  • The choice to pay by standing order – spreading the cost over 12 monthly payments at no additional cost

Silver

Silver cover includes: 

  • Two six-monthly service visits for Isokinetic Systems (2,3 or 4), one annual service visit for all other equipment (as per manufacturer's recommendation)
  • One emergency call out included in your standard cover 12 month period
  • 15% discount on any additional call outs and any necessary replacements parts during the 12 month period of cover
  • The choice to pay by standing order – spreading the cost over 12 monthly payments at no additional cost

Bronze

Bronze cover includes:

  • A one-off service visit

Call Out Charges

If your equipment is not covered under one of these three options at the time of equipment failure, a break down charge will be levied in addition to the cost of a Bronze service.

Service Contract - Conditions

Exclusions: A service contract does not cover computer hardware or software that is peripheral to the BIODEX software which operates your equipment. However, you will receive full support and guidance, where possible, in overcoming any IT related problems, not only from us - IPRS Mediquipe, but from the BIODEX IT Department in the USA. Contract exclusion also applies to upholstery and printers.

Interpretation of ‘A Service'

Mechanical – Mechanical inspection of equipment, examining moving parts for play and resistance, checking for loose or worn parts and replacing parts where necessary.

Electrical – All cables and printed boards inspected for damage. Voltage and resistance measurements conducted.

Software – BIODEX software will be examined for faults and updated with any new versions issued. Latest Firmware will be uploaded, when required, to keep the equipment at its peak functionality.

Calibration – Calibration of equipment to ensure accuracy of data.

Electrical safety test – Electrical safety test conducted to ensure the safety of the patient and the user.

Functional check – General check of all functions of the equipment to insure that the machine is working perfectly after completion of service.

 

Discounts

A discount will be applied when a service contract is taken out with more than one machine at any one site. The highest priced machine will be charged at the quoted rate and subsequent machines will attract a 20% discount.

Also we offer multi-year contracts:

  • 5% discount for two-year cover
  • 7.5% discount for three-year cover
  • 10% discount for four years or more cover
